Established in 1924, WRRA represents over a century of Rugby Officiating across the Waikato, Built on Consistency, Integrity and Involvement at every level of the game.

Operating Independently since the early 2000's, the Association Manages and Develops Officials across all Competitions, from Grassroots Rugby through to Premier fixtures.

Every weekend, WRRA Referees step onto fields across the province, delivering structure and control to the game, backed by a system of Appointments, Preparation and Accountability.

A defined pathway Supports Referees entering the game, alongside structured Grading, Coaching and Performance Tracking, creating progression from local Rugby through to higher honours.
